Leo James Osborn is a Brooklyn-based actor, poet, and multi-disciplinary artist originally from Charlotte, North Carolina.
For as long as he can remember, Leo has been in relentless pursuit of presence. It is this value that infuses everything he does, from acting to writing to even the most menial of customer service jobs.
Leo is a question-asker, story-seeker, and student of the human condition to his core, and is perpetually in awe, admiration, and interrogation of the nuanced, often contradictory nature of human behavior.
Growing up queer and trans in the Bible Belt of the American South, it was through writing that Leo first discovered his passion for stories. An otherwise isolated child, he found himself quickly swept into a love affair with storytelling of all kinds, and it was only a matter of time before he had thrown himself full tilt into the world of theatre.
From the Blue Ridge Mountains of his home to the Redwood groves of Central California, Leo has honed his craft across a variety of geographical locations, finding immense delight in the magic of the natural world and what all it can teach us. He finds the most fulfillment playing complex characters who grapple with larger-than-life questions and doubts, revealing the subtle glints of vulnerability that lay beneath even the least sympathetic of people.
